Highly collectible -- Glass bottles are available on Tesla's European website
Finally fulfilling elon Musk's promise in November, Tesla has now launched its collectible Tesla Lightning Bottle in official Stores across Europe. The hand-blown bottle, known as the Tesla Decanter, may become another of Tesla's most sought-after products. Tesla launched tesla Tequila in early November 2020, priced at $250 a bottle and featuring a unique lightning bolt. Price proved no problem as the product sold out within hours of hitting the shelves. Buyers are even selling their empty bottles on eBay. As collectibles, bottles range in price from $500 to $1,000.
Luxury wine sales climbed 43% in 2021
Sales of luxury foreign spirits surged 43 percent last year, led by tequila and American whiskey, according to the Discus. In October 2021, the industry body for the first time published its Luxury Brands Index (LBI), a tool to track sales of foreign wine brands costing more than $50 per 750ml bottle. Data will be released quarterly. The index tracks sales in six categories. American, Irish, Japanese, single malt Scotch, tequila and cognac. Sales of premium spirits rose 47 percent in the third quarter of 2021 compared to the same period in 2020.

Uk-based Halewood Artisanal Spirits, formerly Halewood Wines & Spirits, has opened a new £5 million ($6.5 million) distillery in Russia to produce JJ Whitley vodka. A new JJ Whitley Russian distillery in St Petersburg has opened to "further enhance the sourcing and quality of JJ Whitley's portfolio".
